Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Is the Sauce Cup with Lid safe for direct contact with food?
Sure. All Sauce Cup with Lid is made from food-grade raw materials (such as sugarcane bagasse, bamboo pulp, and recycled food-grade paper) and complies with strict international standards, including FDA 21 CFR, EU EN 13432, and ASTM D6400. It is 100% free of harmful chemicals like PFAS, BPA, and phthalates, ensuring no toxic substances leach into food even when exposed to heat or oil.
2. Can the Sauce Cup with Lid be used in microwaves and ovens?
It depends on the specific product type. Our coated molded pulp packaging (applied with food-grade laminated film liners) can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 220℃, making it safe for both microwave heating and oven use. However, unlaminated pure pulp containers are recommended for cold or room-temperature food only, as they may absorb moisture or deform at high temperatures. Send an inquiry for temperature guidance.
3. How biodegradable and compostable is the Sauce Cup with Lid?
Molded pulp is one of the most eco-friendly packaging materials available. In a controlled industrial composting environment, it fully decomposes into water, carbon dioxide, and nutrient-rich biomass within 180 days, leaving no toxic residues. Our certified products meet ASTM D6400 (U.S.) and EN 13432 (EU) standards, and some are even OK Compost HOME certified—meaning they can decompose in home compost piles within 3–6 months.
4. Is it possible to put my branding on the Sauce Cup with Lid?
Absolutely yes—branding customization is a core service we offer for the Sauce Cup with Lid, designed to help enhance your brand visibility and recognition. We support multiple branding methods tailored to your needs and product characteristics, including:
Screen Printing: Ideal for clear, durable logos, slogans, or contact information. It adheres well to the pulp surface and maintains quality even with light moisture contact.
Embossing/Debossing: A tactile branding option that creates raised (embossed) or recessed (debossed) logos on the container. This adds a premium, professional touch without relying on inks.
